Special Facilities and Services Available to Disabled Students

The Academic and Career Enrichment Center (ACE) serves as the main location for serving students with disabilities, including learning, physical and psychological disabilities. Benedictine University will ensure that all students have an equal opportunity to access academic programs and other aspects of university life. Due to weather concerns, this event is being rescheduled

The purpose of this training is to prepare volunteers to assist in the resourcing, opening, operating and closing of a Red Cross Shelter in the event one is needed. Benedictine University is the DuPage County primary shelter for the Red Cross providing a safe and warm place to stay when disasters occur in our area. The mission of the American Red Cross is to “prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.”
