Early Acceptance Agreement with Ross Medical School


Ross University Medical SchoolRoss University School of Medicine (RUSM) has an official agreement that will give BenU pre-medical students who have completed their junior year and have met the academic criteria, opportunities for early decision acceptance into RUSM in the semester following their graduation.  Click for more information on qualifications for Undergraduate students.

Dual Acceptance Agreement with The Chicago College of Pharmacy (CCP) at Midwestern University


Midwestern University DGThe Chicago College of Pharmacy (CCP) at Midwestern University has a Dual Acceptance Program with BenU undergraduate students. Clinical Partnership Agreements

Clinical Laboratory Science with Hines Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital:

In the Clinical Laboratory Science program at Benedictine University, you will follow a three-year sequence of liberal arts and science courses. During your senior year, you will be eligible to complete a one calendar-year clinical program at a hospital affiliated with the University — Hines Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital in Hines, Ill. — where you will fulfill your clinical requirements in Clinical Laboratory Science. Successful completion earns you a B.A. in Biology- Allied Health from Benedictine University, and you will be eligible to take the certifying examinations administered by the Board of Registry of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and the National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel. Clinical Science Programs with Northwestern Memorial Hospital:

In the nuclear medicine technology, diagnostic medical sonography, or radiation therapy programs, you will complete your first three years of course work at Benedictine University. During your junior year, you must apply to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for your clinical education. The admissions process is competitive. During your senior year, you will complete a clinical education curriculum. Successful completion of one of these programs earns you a BA in Biology- Allied Health from Benedictine University, and

Northwestern Memorial Hospital strongly recommends that a student be trained as a CNA and have "hands-on" experience before applying.

Clinical Master's with Rush University:

  • 3+2 Programs- Receive a Bachelor's degree from Benedictine and a Master's degree from Rush University in Respiratory Care in as little as 5 years.
  • Rush University College of Nursing has a contractual agreement between Rush College of Nursing and Benedictine University whereby a student receives their diploma and all or the majority of their education from Benedictine. Upon meeting the admission requirements of Rush, applicants are qualified to receive a guaranteed admission to the Generalist Entry Master’s (GEM) Program. Students who attend Benedictine must earn a minimum 3.0 cumulative and science GPA on a 4-point scale and be recommended to the Rush nursing program by their health career advisor (Ms. Alice Sima). Preferential admission into the GEM program is dependent upon the number of qualified applications received during the year from the affiliate school.
