Benedictine University 2020 Global
Virtual Commencement Ceremony
Sunday, October 18
Updated September 23, 2020
The Virtual Commencement Date is nearing.
An email providing details on the October 18th Virtual Commencement is being sent to your preferred email on record from my email account (email@example.com). Please watch for the email, as you will have one final homework assignment. The email was sent on: Monday, September 21, 2020. We are looking for you to review your information, submit a picture of yourself and a message/comment. This will be submitted via web site. The final due date is: Friday, September 25 at 1:00 p.m. CST.
As more details are finalized, details and notifications will be posted to: www.ben.edu/commencement. Please routinely check the Commencement Website and your preferred email on record spam folder. Internet & email providers have established a rule that any email from a school will be placed into one’s SPAM/JUNK folder and deleted on a weekly basis.
Congratulations on obtaining your degree!
We look forward to celebrating together on October 18!
When will the Virtual Commencement take place?
It will take place on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. Central Time (Chicago). A link (URL) will be provided on the Benedictine University Commencement Website once it has been determined.
I have not received my diploma. Who do I contact for status?
The Office of the Registrar handle diploma distribution. You can contact them at #firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hint: Don't forget to update your personal mailing address and personal email ID, if you've moved, changed your name or changed email providers. The student change information form is located at: http://www.ben.edu/registrar/upload/Change-of-Student-Information-Updated-8-24-2020.pdf.
I cannot order my cap and gown. It states to contact Debra Kaszuba.
When entering your BenU ID number, do not use the "B". In addition, if your account has a financial hold you are unable to order your cap and gown. Once you pay off your account, please have Student Accounts Receivable (email@example.com) contact the Assistant to the Associate Provost and the Office of the Registrar to advise them to release your cap & gown order and diploma.
On the Create Your Graduation Slide for Virtual Commencement website I created an account and attempted to register. The link to register looks like it’s not active. Just wondering if there is something else I need to do or if it’s not available yet?
Please make sure that you are using Chrome, Firefox or Safari. Kindly be sure that you are giving the form enough time to load, if you have a slow connection.
