Volunteer Opportunities

At Benedictine University, our core values include volunteerism, stewardship and giving back to the community. We're providing you various opportunities to give back to your alma mater in any way that you can. The Office of Alumni Relations has partnered with various departments on campus to encourage you to stay connected with Benedictine University after you graduate. As an alum, you have several unique opportunities to help make our University a better place for current and future Eagles! Some of those opportunities include, but are not limited to:

  • Becoming a mentor for current students
  • Visiting campus to speak to a classroom or student organization
  • Volunteering at an upcoming event
  • Speaking to prospective students about your Benedictine University experience
  • Writing postcards to admitted students, encouraging them to choose Benedictine University
  • Providing an informational interview to students interested in your career field
  • Attending a networking event for student athletes
  • Inviting students to your office for a job shadow or externship experience
  • Hiring a member of the Benedictine University family

Complete the Volunteer Interest Form to identify which opportunities you are interested in. A staff member from the Office of Alumni Relations will be in contact with you after receiving your form.

"BenU provided me a great 4.5 years and I want to do anything to give back to not only a terrific school, but a great community as well and help lead BenU into the next generation in any way I can."
